Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay's undeniable chemistry on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has captured the hearts of many fans.

When asked about working together again after Christopher's departure from the show in 2011, he replied, "Never been better... I mean if you had told me I'd have the career I have at this time in the twilight of my life." Christopher responded by saying they are "very lucky," while Mariska described it as "effortless" and "weird."

Given the progress of their onscreen storyline, it is possible that Stabler and Benson may take the plunge and become a couple in the next season of Law & Order: SVU.
