In 1967, at the Long Beach International Karate Championships, Bruce Lee challenged Moore in a speed drill contest. Despite Moore claiming to have blocked Lee's punches, the footage clearly shows otherwise. After 55 years, no other footage has surfaced to support Moore's claims.
